Position: Sr Compliance Engineer / Hybrid / Marlborough, MA

This full-time Senior Compliance Engineer position offers the opportunity to work with cutting-edge technologies while leading product safety, EMC, and regulatory certification efforts across a diverse product portfolio.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys being at the intersection of engineering, regulatory strategy, and product development. You will serve as the compliance subject matter expert, influencing product design from the earliest stages while partnering with engineering teams across the United States and Europe. The company is looking for someone who can navigate complex regulatory requirements, drive certification strategies, and help bring innovative technologies to market.

This position offers strong visibility, cross-functional exposure, and the opportunity to become a key technical leader within a growing global organization.

Required Skills & Experience
  • BS in Electrical Engineering or related field
  • 5+ years of Compliance Engineering experience
  • Experience obtaining and maintaining UL, cUL, and CE certifications
  • Strong knowledge of EMC requirements and testing methodologies
  • Experience working with North American and European safety standards
  • Experience supporting safety agency testing and certification activities
  • Strong communication and project management skills
  • Experience with schematic capture tools and Microsoft Office applications
Desired Skills & Experience
  • Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
  • 8–10+ years of Compliance Engineering experience
  • Experience with industrial equipment, scientific instrumentation, or laser systems
  • Experience with Machinery Directive, Low Voltage Directive, and EMC Directive requirements
  • Risk Assessment and FMEA experience
  • Experience working with international engineering teams
  • Knowledge of evolving safety and EMC standards
