Overview

A rapidly growing robotics and warehouse automation company in the Greater Boston area is hiring a full-time Physical AI Architect to lead the development of next-generation AI systems deployed on real-world robotic platforms. This role focuses on physical AI, diffusion-based policy learning, optimal control, robot manipulation, perception, planning, and hardware-integrated autonomy systems. The position offers the opportunity to define the technical vision for AI-driven robotics while working directly with production hardware, advanced machine learning models, and high-throughput warehouse automation systems.

Responsibilities
  • Define and drive the technical vision and roadmap for AI-driven robotics autonomy systems that combine modern AI techniques with robust robotic control and hardware integration.
  • Architect production-ready autonomy software stacks, mentor senior engineers, and influence the long-term autonomy strategy of a rapidly scaling robotics organization.
  • Lead the development and deployment of AI-powered robotic systems in real-world production environments.
  • Collaborate with hardware teams to integrate perception, planning, and control with physical systems.
  • Measure success through deployed systems and impact on operations rather than solely through research outputs.
