Principal Infrastructure Engineer​/Onsite​/Boston, MA

An investment firm in the Boston area is hiring a Principal Infrastructure Engineer to join their team on a full-time basis. The firm has been in business for 35+ years and has invested in more than 430 companies across healthcare, life sciences, technology and other growth sectors. This is a direct hire opportunity, with 4-5 days per week onsite responsibilities in downtown Boston, MA.

They are looking for a detailed and task-oriented individual who is motivated to succeed and who wants to take ownership of all areas of the network/server/cloud services infrastructure. You will be responsible for planning, implementing, maintaining, and improving state of the art network infrastructure enterprise infrastructure consisting of Switches, Routers, Network appliances, Wireless Access Points, Storage Arrays, SDWan, VMWare infrastructure. Manage backup systems/policies to ensure data integrity.

Manage on-premise/cloud based zero-trust enterprise firewall services and cyber-security products/infrastructure. They are ideally looking for strong experience with Firewalls, Routers, Network Switches, VMWare, Powershell, Zero trust endpoint firewalls/VPN, in a TCP based Windows/Linux hybrid Azure AD environment.
