Robotics, AI Engineer (Applied/Software)
A rapidly growing robotics and warehouse automation company in the Greater Boston area is hiring a full-time Physical AI Architect to lead the development of next-generation AI systems deployed on real-world robotic platforms. This role focuses on physical AI, diffusion-based policy learning, optimal control, robot manipulation, perception, planning, and hardware-integrated autonomy systems. The position offers the opportunity to define the technical vision for AI-driven robotics while working directly with production hardware, advanced machine learning models, and high-throughput warehouse automation systems.
This is a rare opportunity for a senior robotics and AI leader who wants to bridge cutting-edge research with real-world deployment. The company is looking for someone who can architect production-ready autonomy systems that combine modern AI techniques with robust robotic control and hardware integration. You’ll have direct influence over the future of the autonomy stack, mentor senior engineers, and help shape the long-term technical roadmap of a rapidly scaling robotics organization.
If you thrive on solving difficult physical-world problems and measuring success through deployed systems rather than research papers, this role offers exceptional ownership, visibility, and impact.
