New Haven, CT, Los Angeles, CA; and Toronto. +A provides state-of-the-art integrated and coordinated mechanical, electrical, plumbing and fire protection consulting engineering, technology systems design, lighting design, and building commissioning services.
- Work with project team to coordinate all building services (Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing, Fire Protection, Technology, etc.) to find best routing and avoid interferences with other building systems;
- Manage and implement a VDC project setup process, facilitating BIM meetings and design quality control coordination sessions;
- Lead clash prevention analyses, generating and tracking clash reports, assisting with the communication of results with our design, quality control, and construction administration teams;
- Train our design team on BIM capabilities, including best practices and lessons learned;
- Work with our Principals to understand current processes, advise, and assist in implementing the VDC processes;
- Participate in speaking opportunities within the industry and focus groups;
- Actively participate in and lead ongoing strategic initiatives related to VDC and BIM.
- 5-7 years experience overseeing VDC and BIM implementation;
- Proficient with BIM software (Revit, Navis Works etc);
- Able to read drawings, specifications, building codes, and other technical product and material specifications;
- Excellent knowledge of VDC processes used in the industry;
- Exceptional presentation and training skills;
- Strong written and verbal communication skills;
- Ability to work well as part of a team and independently;
- Willing to pursue continued education in VDC;
- Ability to manage multiple projects with minimal guidance.

Salary range for 5-7 years of experience: $90,000 - $130,000
