Senior Device Engineer

Cellicor is the exclusive hiring partner for a biopharmaceutical company who is seeking to hire multiple levels of experience within Device Engineers to develop the next phase of device delivery products for their innovative therapies.

These roles will sit onsite in the Greater Boston, MA area.

Qualifications for the Device Engineers:

• 8 to 15 years of experience developing medical devices and combination products.
• Well-versed in medical device development processes, including design controls, risk management, testing, and regulatory requirements.
• Extensive experience with mechanical design, manufacturing processes, and cross-functional project leadership in a regulated environment.
• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, or a related field.

Responsibilities for the Device Engineers:

• Lead the development of drug delivery devices from concept through commercialization, ensuring products are safe, effective, and manufacturable.
• Responsible for managing device innovation and compliance throughout the company.
• Plan and execute product testing, risk assessments, and validation activities to support regulatory approvals and product launches.
• Support manufacturing scale-up, process improvements, and technical transfers to ensure products can be reliably produced at commercial volumes.
