Our client, a well-established multidisciplinary engineering, surveying, and environmental consulting firm, is seeking a Senior Project Engineer to join its growing Boston office. This opportunity is ideal for a Project Engineer who is ready to take the next step toward Project Management while gaining exposure to a diverse portfolio of urban redevelopment, mixed‑use, housing, and land development projects throughout Greater Boston.

The Boston team works on a wide range of projects including:

• Office-to-residential conversions
• Public housing rehabilitation projects
• Urban infill and redevelopment sites
• Site grading and drainage design
• Stormwater management and permitting

Current projects include large‑scale redevelopment efforts throughout downtown Boston and surrounding communities.

Unlike many engineering firms, the organization maintains in‑house surveying and environmental teams, allowing projects to be executed under one roof. Engineers work closely with surveyors, permitting specialists, and wetlands scientists throughout the project lifecycle.

• Prepare civil engineering designs for land development and redevelopment projects
• Perform grading, drainage, utility, and stormwater management design
• Develop plans and supporting documentation utilizing Civil 3D and related design software
• Coordinate with survey, environmental, and permitting teams
• Support project managers in client communication and project delivery
• Assist with permitting and regulatory approvals
• Contribute to project planning, scheduling, and technical execution

• 4-6+ years of civil engineering experience
• Experience with site development, grading, drainage, and utility design
• Proficiency with AutoCAD Civil 3D
• Strong technical, analytical, and problem‑solving skills
• Excellent communication and organizational abilities
• EIT certification

• Professional Engineer (PE) licensure
• Experience with HydroCAD and stormwater design
• Desire to advance into project management responsibilities
