PURPOSE

POSITION

We are seeking an Engineering Technician to perform moderately complex test procedures and troubleshooting techniques on electromechanical sub-assemblies and complete systems to ensure compliance with company standards. This is an on-site role in our Boston, MA office.

Key Responsibilities and Objectives
  • Resolves deficiencies identified during test procedures to restore systems to acceptable operational standards.
  • Assists in the development of test and repair procedures to meet quality specifications.
  • Provides skilled mechanical and electrical/electronic support to all areas of Manufacturing.
  • Performs acceptance testing of incoming electronics, PCBAs, modules, and components.
  • Software installation, data downloading, and data entry of test results.
  • Assists Technical Services in troubleshooting and repair of returned systems.
  • Supports prototype electronics assembly and test.
  • PCBA assembly troubleshooting and rework.

Qualifications
  • Specialized training and/or Associates degree preferred.
  • 3-5 years of experience in building, testing, troubleshooting and repair of electronics. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience with high voltage electronics.
  • Experience with X-Ray systems is preferred.
