Job Description SummaryThe Strategic Systems Engineering Test Equipment group seeks a Senior Test Equipment Development Engineer to develop and manage complex electrical, mechanical and software‑based test equipment throughout the full system lifecycle. You will serve as a lead system integrator, designing, developing and managing integration and test activities from early concept through system certification.
Duties / Responsibilities- Own assignments and guide others, leading tasks while tracking priorities, scope, cost, and schedule.
- Develop plans, approaches, and procedures to solve complex integration and test problems across a program lifecycle.
- Produce high‑quality technical reports and presentations tailored to the intended audience.
- Present technical information confidently in meetings with internal and external stakeholders.
- Identify program‑level technical risks and execute mitigation strategies.
- Mentor less experienced engineers, providing constructive feedback.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Curiosity‑driven approach to solving complex, industry‑driven problems as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Collaborate and communicate effectively with program team members, leadership, and non‑technical personnel.
- Team player who can work in a fast‑paced environment.
- Balance multiple competing tasks and demands.
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Systems Engineering, Applied Physics, or a related field.
Experience5‑7 years in Systems Engineering or a relevant role.
