Windows Compliance Remediation Engineer
The Windows Compliance Remediation Engineer will be responsible for reviewing and analyzing system security reports to identify potential compliance violations on Windows operating systems. They will then work to develop and implement remediation plans to address these findings, ensuring systems meet the organization's security benchmarks and regulatory requirements. This role requires a strong understanding of Windows administration along with a working knowledge of common compliance frameworks.
The engineer will need excellent analytical and problem-solving skills to troubleshoot complex issues and identify the root cause of compliance failures. They must also possess excellent communication skills to document remediation procedures and collaborate with system administrators to ensure successful implementation.
Required experience:
- 5+ years of Active Directory and Windows administration/troubleshooting/security
- 5+ years working in security implementations for Windows
- Good understanding of Power Shell and Linux shell scripting e.g. python

- Having worked in the banking/financial sector
- Industry certifications
Role supporting specific projects or initiatives:
- Specific projects that cover a wide range of regulatory findings, mostly around compliance to security standards
Working hours, time zone:
- 9am – 5pm Eastern Time- FULLY REMOTE
Duration of this contract and chance of extension:
- 6 months with extensions
Day to day of the person going to look like:
- Focus on project tickets, attend project meetings and implement requirements.
