Structural Designer – Buildings (Boston, MA) STV is seeking a Structural Designer to join our Buildings team in our Boston, MA office. This is an opportunity to be part of a growing, collaborative group delivering complex structural design solutions across a diverse portfolio of building projects.
Our Boston Buildings practice supports a strong backlog of work across multiple sectors and continues to grow. This role offers exposure to multidisciplinary teams and provides a solid foundation for developing structural engineering expertise within the built environment.
Key Responsibilities- Support the design and analysis of building structures, including steel, concrete, and other structural systems
- Assist in preparing structural calculations, drawings, and technical documentation
- Participate in site visits, field investigations, and construction support activities
- Collaborate with architects, engineers, and project teams to deliver coordinated design solutions
- Support projects through various phases, from design through construction
- 0–3 years of experience in structural analysis and design, preferably within buildings or vertical construction
- Experience with software such as ETABS, RISA 3D, SAP
2000, Revit preferred - Fundamentals of Engineering (FE/EIT) certification preferred or in progress
- Ability to work both in an office environment and on project sites as needed
- Strong written and verbal communication skills

Compensation Range$82,862.07 - $94,699.51
