Job Title: Senior Signal/Image Processing R&D Engineer
Duration: 1 year plus
Location: West of Boston, MA
DescriptionThe successful candidate will be responsible for the following: advances state‑of‑the‑art algorithms including linear and non‑linear technologies; develops, implements and evaluates signal and image processing algorithms for automatic target detection and recognition (ATR). Typical assignments include development of SAR cueing and discrimination algorithms, multispectral EO material identification, multi‑spectral change detection and multi‑sensor fusion. Provides major contributions to proposals for new business.
Requirements- US citizenship and ability to obtain DoD Security Clearance required.
- Hands‑on experience in one or more of the following areas: automatic cueing in synthetic aperture radar and/or single‑band and multispectral EO/IR imagery; multispectral sensing phenomenology; SAR phenomenology; and automatic detection, classification and feature extraction algorithms.
- Spectral exploitation experience a must.
- Strong skills in working with real databases, debugging code and understanding processed results, “C” and UNIX skills essential.
- Skill in effectively communicating both verbally and in writing.
- MATLAB experience desirable.
- Experience with ENVI, ERDAS/IMAGINE or KHOROS a plus.
