Senior Technical Advisor (Part Time) – (190752)

Perform engineering assignments under the direct supervision of a licensed engineer, design tasks involving judgment in evaluating, selecting and applying engineering techniques, produce design drawings and construction documents using CAD and other software, prepare design or quantity calculations, write specifications and contract documents, coordinate with other disciplines, and fulfil additional duties as assigned by the supervising engineer.

• Previous MBTA experience

• Associate's degree in engineering or related field or equivalent work experience
• Minimum of 5 years of engineering experience in the discipline to be supported
• Aptitude and demonstrated hands‑on experience with computer applications specific to the discipline
• Knowledge of industry standards specific to the discipline being supported
• Proficient with Microsoft Office
• Good verbal and written communication skills
