Seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to lead complex power systems projects from concept through testing, validation, and deployment. This role combines hands‑on engineering, power electronics design, high‑voltage testing, troubleshooting, and cross‑functional collaboration with engineering, manufacturing, and field service teams. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast‑paced environment and enjoys solving challenging technical problems while supporting both product development and customer applications.
Key Responsibilities- Design, review, and approve electrical power and power electronics systems.
- Develop and execute test plans for electrical equipment and products.
- Collect, analyze, and document test results and performance data.
- Generate technical reports and testing documentation.
- Design, build, troubleshoot, operate, and maintain laboratory and test equipment.
- Diagnose and repair electrical systems, assemblies, and products as needed.
- Partner with engineering teams to implement product improvements, design modifications, and new product development initiatives.
- Create and update technical procedures, work instructions, and testing methodologies.
- Provide technical training and guidance to engineers and field service personnel on:
- Product operation and theory
- Testing procedures
- Use of diagnostic and test equipment
- Electrical safety practices and protocols
- Support field service activities, troubleshooting efforts, and customer installations.
- Contribute to meeting production, quality, and project performance objectives.
- Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or a related technical discipline required.
- Ph.D. preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in power systems, power electronics, electrical equipment, or related industries.
- Experience supporting field operations or commissioning activities is a plus.
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering required; advanced degree preferred.
- Strong background in power systems and/or power electronics.
- Experience with electrical circuit design and analysis, including:
- Power electronic circuits
- Three-phase power systems
- High-voltage electrical systems
- Hands‑on experience testing, troubleshooting, and repairing PCBs, electrical assemblies, and large‑scale power equipment.
- Knowledge of testing methodologies for phase and three‑phase electrical equipment operating at high voltages and currents.
- Experience designing, specifying, operating, and evaluating test equipment within an engineering environment.
- Proficiency with circuit simulation and modeling tools for time‑domain and frequency‑domain analysis.
- Strong working knowledge of standard engineering software, including Microsoft Office applications.
- Ability to work independently while effectively communicating with cross‑functional teams, customers, and stakeholders.
