PCB Electronics In-Circuit Test Engineer

We are seeking a knowledgeable PCB Electronics In-Circuit Test Engineer with expertise in Surface Mount Technology (SMT), Design for Manufacturability and Assembly (DFMA), and ISO 9001 standards. In this role, you will be responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining in-circuit test strategies to ensure the reliability and quality of our electronic products.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and develop in-circuit test strategies and fixtures for PCB assemblies.
• Create and maintain test plans, specifications, and documentation.
• Collaborate with design engineers to establish test requirements and improve product testability.
• Leverage SMT process knowledge to optimize test coverage and efficiency.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to apply DFMA principles, enhancing manufacturability and reducing production costs.
• Ensure compliance with ISO 9001 standards throughout the testing process.
• Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions for test failures.
• Maintain precise records of test results and quality metrics.
• Troubleshoot and debug PCB assemblies using various testing equipment and methodologies.
• Provide technical support to production teams and assist in resolving production issues.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements, leading initiatives to enhance testing efficiency and effectiveness.
• Stay informed on industry trends and advancements in test engineering and electronics manufacturing.
