Senior Electrical Engineering Project Manager
We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Electrical Engineering Project Manager to lead the development and execution of complex electrical engineering programs from concept through commercialization. This individual will provide technical and program leadership across cross-functional teams, ensuring products are delivered on schedule, within budget, and in compliance with quality and regulatory requirements. The ideal candidate combines strong electrical engineering expertise with exceptional project management and stakeholder communication skills.
Key Responsibilities- Lead complex hardware and electrical engineering development programs from concept through commercialization.
- Manage cross-functional teams including Electrical Engineering, Firmware, Systems Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Quality, Manufacturing, Regulatory, and Supply Chain.
- Drive program planning, execution, scheduling, budgeting, and resource management to meet project milestones.
- Oversee requirements management, risk management, design controls, verification and validation (V&V), supplier management, and design transfer activities.
- Coordinate hardware, firmware, systems integration, verification, and regulatory efforts throughout the product development lifecycle.
- Facilitate technical decision-making and resolve cross-functional issues to maintain project momentum.
- Ensure compliance with applicable regulatory and quality standards for regulated product development.
- Monitor project risks, develop mitigation strategies, and communicate program status to executive leadership and key stakeholders.
- Partner with manufacturing and operations teams to support successful product launches and commercialization activities.
- Drive continuous improvement of engineering processes, project execution, and program governance.
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering (B.S.) required.
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in electrical engineering and product development, including leadership of complex cross-functional engineering programs.
- Proven experience managing hardware, firmware, systems verification, and regulatory activities throughout the full product development lifecycle.
- Strong knowledge of:
Requirements management, Risk management, Design controls, Verification and validation (V&V), Supplier management, Design transfer - Demonstrated ability to lead multidisciplinary engineering teams while managing schedules, budgets, and technical priorities.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills with experience interacting with executive leadership.
- Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Systems Engineering, Engineering Management, or MBA.
- Project Management Professional (PMP), Agile, Lean Six Sigma, Systems Engineering, or similar certifications.
- Experience with in regulated industries such as:
Medical Devices, Robotics, Aerospace, Industrial Automation
