A growing consulting engineering firm specializing in mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and fire protection design is seeking a Project Manager to join its collaborative team. This opportunity is ideal for a licensed PE or an experienced Mechanical Engineer ready to take on greater leadership responsibility. The firm works on a mix of high-end residential and commercial projects, leveraging modern design technologies and sustainable solutions to deliver high-quality results.
You'll have the chance to lead projects, mentor engineers, and play a key role in shaping project outcomes from concept through completion.
- Managing multiple engineering projects simultaneously from planning through delivery.
- Leading and mentoring junior design engineers while fostering collaboration and teamwork.
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients, architects, and project stakeholders.
- Reviewing project scope, schedules, budgets, and deliverables to ensure successful execution.
- Coordinating project meetings and overseeing technical design activities related to building systems.
- Participating in site visits and providing technical leadership throughout the design and construction process.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering from an accredited institution.
- Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred, though experienced Mechanical Engineers with 5+ years of relevant experience are strongly encouraged to apply.
- Demonstrated ability to independently manage projects, coordinate with clients and architects, and oversee engineering teams.
- Strong technical knowledge of MEP systems and familiarity with the consulting engineering or construction industry.
- Experience with AutoCAD & Revit. Ability to travel occasionally for site visits.
