We are a leading provider of mission Critical data center and colocation facilities is seeking a self – starter to lead the firms electrical engineering and design efforts.
The firm is one of the largest and longest operating multi-tenant data center, telecom carrier hotel, cloud and managed services provider. They provide direct access to 100 providers. AWS Direct Connect and GCP interconnect, ensuring low latency, diverse, high speed connectivity. They host the Boston Internet Exchange. Their AI data center colocation environment offers cutting edge combination of high-power availability and redundant cooling required for GPU-accelerated workloads.
They are a high-density colocation facility.
- Provide technical direction and organization leadership while ensuring compliance with quality and safety on all designs for data center projects
- Collaborate closely with other disciplines including mechanical, controls, construction ,operations , commissioning and supply chain.
- Facilitate capacity studies UPS and emergency power strategies, and short circuit /load coordination studies. Record and & report key metrics to management.
- Manage external architects, design consultants and engineers.
- Work with data center electricians, third party engineers, and subcontractors in the design of new tenant spaces and assignment of branch circuits.
- Support for all customer installations, deployments, and power circuit installations
- Responsible for information security by appropriately preserving confidentiality, integrity. & Availability (CIA) of the firms assets in accordance with firms Information security plan.
- PE Electrical Engineering
- 10+ years experience in colocation data center design & managing technical leads
- Extensive Knowledge of mission critical electrical systems, including medium and low voltage, PDU’s, grounding and related infrastructure
- Proficient in power requirements for high performance and liquid cooled high density GPU environments

Position reports directly to EVP
salary range 200-300K + bonus
Will relocate for the right background. Year end Bonus
6 weeks vacation
