- Current student at Berklee College of Music or Boston Conservatory at Berklee
- Enrolled at least half‑time in a degree, diploma, or certificate‑seeking undergraduate or graduate program (Summer is the only semester when a student can maintain employment without being enrolled; in that case the student must be pre‑registered for the upcoming fall semester. This exception does not apply to fall or spring semesters.)
- Have a valid United States Social Security Number (SSN)
- Remain in “valid” Visa status as applicable
- Minimum 2.0 cumulative GPA (students in their first semester may work even though they do not have an official GPA until completion of their first semester)
- Federal Work Study students may apply
- In good disciplinary standing
- Must be located in the U.S.
Supports the thousands of prospective students applying to Berklee’s three US‑based campuses. Under the direction of the Manager of Auditions Operations, this team provides world‑class service and VIP treatment to all prospective students and their families. This role helps direct general admissions operations duties and the successful implementation of the audition and interview (A&I) process, including communications and event staffing.
Responsibilities- Serve as the first point of contact for prospective students and families regarding the A&I component of the admissions process, ensuring the highest level of service and exceeding competitor expectations.
- Provide front‑facing public speaking support during events such as information sessions and emceeing during audition and interview events.
- Support Audition and Interview Team events as needed.
- Assist with event and operations support on‑campus and online A&I events, including online and in‑person information sessions.
- Assist the Auditions Team with preparing all materials needed for on‑campus audition events.
- Provide event support for Boston Conservatory on‑campus audition events during peak season (Saturdays and Sundays).
- Assist the Audition team with scheduling faculty auditioners, interviewers, and other student workers for on‑campus A&I events.
- Handle other duties as assigned by the Auditions team, including the Assistant Directors and/or Auditions Coordinator.
- Strong desire to represent Berklee and Boston Conservatory to prospective students and families.
- Attention to detail, strong organization, and time‑management skills.
- Prior history of customer service‑related skills.
- Self‑motivated, entrepreneurial spirit, able to work independently.
- Proficient written and oral communication in an articulate, professional, and knowledgeable manner.
- Ability to maintain and promote confidentiality.
- Familiarity with spreadsheet applications, strong writing and reading skills, and advanced computer skills (database file and advanced word processing).
- Familiarity with Salesforce or other CRMs is a plus but not required.
Student Worker 2, $16.97/hour.
