The RoleWe're looking for a Manual QA Engineer to be the last line of defense on quality across our sports book and casino platform. This role is focused on manual testing, coding or automation experience is not required. You'll work closely with product managers and engineers, using your attention to detail and genuine engagement with the product to catch what others miss and give the team confidence to ship.
WhatYou'll Do
- Perform manual functional, regression, and exploratory testing across web, mobile, and backend surfaces
- Execute manual test cases based on product requirements and acceptance criteria for sports book (pre-match and in-play betting, bet slips, cash-out, odds display, settlement) and casino games (slots, table games, live dealer)
- Manually verify bug fixes and validate accuracy of odds, payouts, bet settlement, bonuses, and promotional mechanics
- Test deposit, withdrawal, and payment journeys across multiple providers and currencies
- Log clear, reproducible bug reports with precise steps, evidence, and severity; track defects through to resolution
- Validate responsible gaming controls, including deposit limits, self-exclusion, reality checks, and age/identity verification
- Partner closely with product managers and engineers to define requirements, clarify edge cases, and give a confident go/no-go on tight release cycles
- Maintain and continually improve test cases, checklists, and QA documentation as the platform evolves
- Experience in manual QA testing
- Exceptional attention to detail
- Comfort testing without relying on automated frameworks
- Comfort with bug tracking and test management tools (e.g., Jira, Test Rail, Xray)
- Clear written and verbal communication
- A real passion for sports and games, you understand how bettors and players actually use the product
- Experience testing regulated products or working with gaming regulators (e.g., UKGC, MGA, or state-level licensing)
- Familiarity with API testing tools (Postman), SQL for data validation, or basic test automation exposure
- Prior work with real-money transactions, live/real-time data feeds, or third-party game and odds providers
