Job DescriptionWe are looking for a Compliance Analyst in our Boston office to support our compliance program and work on a variety of time-sensitive and confidential investment-related matters.
Responsibilities- Perform ongoing investment guideline review and reporting for a variety of equity accounts, including separately managed institutional portfolios and mutual funds.
- Monitor and review automated exception reports.
- Prepare client guideline certifications on a regular basis and as needed.
- Liaise with equity trading desks to research and resolve client guideline questions and issues.
- Perform periodic audits of policies and procedures.
- Maintain and enhance policies and procedures manuals as warranted.
- Provide backup for compliance staff.
- Complete special projects as needed.
- Bachelor's degree.
- Strong analytic and organizational skills with good attention to detail; able to prioritize in fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in MS Word/Excel.
- Excellent communication skills and professional demeanor as position requires interaction with employees throughout the firm, including senior management.
- 1-2 years of related experience; experience in asset management or investment management industry a plus.
- Working knowledge of Charles River IMS Compliance Monitoring and Management system a plus.
The pay range for this position is $60,000-$70,000.
It is not typical for offers to be made at or near the top of the range. Salary offers are based on a wide range of factors including relevant skills, training, experience, education, and where applicable, licensure or certification obtained. Market and Firm factors are also considered. In addition to the base salary and a generous employee benefits package, successful candidates are eligible to receive a discretionary bonus.
