Overview

A leading national professional services firm is seeking a seasoned Tax Partner to expand and enhance its Private Client Services (PCS) practice in the Boston market. This role focuses on delivering high‑level advisory and compliance services to high‑net‑worth individuals, families, entrepreneurs, and family offices
, while contributing strategically to the growth of the wider tax platform.

This opportunity is ideal for a partner with a strong client following, a proven record advising complex wealth profiles, and an entrepreneurial mindset suited to a high‑growth environment.

Responsibilities
  • Lead and grow the PCS/High‑Net‑Worth practice within the Boston market.
  • Advise high‑net‑worth individuals, multi‑generational families, and business owners on tax planning, wealth preservation, trust and estate strategies, charitable planning, and multi‑jurisdictional considerations.
  • Oversee and review sophisticated tax compliance and consulting engagements.
  • Mentor, develop, and manage a team of tax professionals, fostering technical excellence and a collaborative culture.
  • Drive business development through relationship building, networking, and expansion of existing client portfolios.
  • Collaborate cross‑functionally with valuation, forensics, international tax, and advisory teams to deliver integrated client solutions.
Ideal Candidate Profile
  • Currently operating at Partner level or ready for immediate elevation.
  • Extensive experience advising high‑net‑worth and ultra‑high‑net‑worth clients within a PCS‑focused environment (reflecting active market demand for PCS specialists.).
  • Strong technical expertise in individual taxation, trust and estate planning, gift strategies, philanthropic structures, and multi‑entity or multi‑state complexities.
  • Demonstrated success in building and managing a book of business, with consistent client retention and revenue growth.
  • Proven leadership skills, including the ability to develop teams and cultivate a high‑performance culture.
  • CPA
