Title: Controller

Location: East Coast, HQ in PA

A private equity–backed SaaS company is hiring a hands-on Controller to backfill a critical role following an internal promotion. This is a high-impact, high-visibility position with ownership of the full accounting function and direct partnership with senior leadership. This role is ideal for a roll-up-your-sleeves Controller who thrives in lean, growth-stage environments and wants broad exposure across the business.

• Own the full P&L and all core accounting operations
• Lead revenue recognition (ASC 606) across recurring and on-prem software revenue
• Manage and develop a team of 3 today, scaling to 6+ over the next 18–24 months
• Oversee month-end close, AP/AR, payroll, cash management, and reconciliations
• Maintain strong internal controls, GAAP compliance, and audit readiness
• Optimize systems and processes in a Net Suite environment
• Partner closely with Finance leadership and PE stakeholders

• 10+ years of progressive accounting experience
• Background in SaaS, software, Fin Tech, MSPs, or multi-entity environments
• Experience owning revenue recognition under ASC 606
• Comfortable in a hands-on, non-reviewer role
• Proven people manager with experience building teams
• CPA helpful, not required
• Direct partnership with a strong VP of Finance
• Opportunity to build and scale the accounting team and processes
• Compensation: $175K–$185K base + 25% bonus
