Title: Fiduciary Tax Accountant
Salary: $110,000 – $160,000 + discretionary bonus

Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and review estate, fiduciary income, and gift tax returns including Forms 706, 8971, 1041, 709 and related state filings
- Analyze trust documents and estate plans to determine tax treatment and compliance requirements
- Partner with attorneys and advisors to support tax‑efficient wealth transfer strategies
- Maintain detailed records of trust and estate activity, distributions, and filings
- Support IRS and state audits, notices, and tax correspondence
- Monitor tax law changes impacting fiduciary and estate entities
- Assist with asset valuations and estate tax return preparation
- Ensure timely filings and estimated payments across jurisdictions
- Use tax and financial systems to manage workflow and reporting
- Provide overflow support to broader tax team as needed
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration
- CPA, JD, or Enrolled Agent designation required
- 7+ years of fiduciary tax experience within a law firm, wealth management, or public accounting environment
- Experience with high net worth clients and complex estate structures preferred
- Strong knowledge of estate, gift, and fiduciary income tax rules
- Advanced Excel and tax software proficiency
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast paced setting
- Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship now or in the future
