Student Accounts Manager

CFS has partnered with a respected higher education institution seeking a Student Accounts Manager to support day‑to‑day student billing operations and deliver a positive, student‑focused experience in Boston, MA.

This role works closely with Student Financial Services and campus partners to ensure accurate billing, timely payments, and clear communication.

• Apply tuition and fee charges and generate accurate student billing statements
• Process and post student payments and cash receipts to the general ledger
• Assist with processing and reconciling financial aid funds in compliance with regulations
• Perform month-end reconciliations related to student accounts and payments
• Support student refunds and annual 1098‑T processing
• Respond to billing questions and assist with escalated account issues
• Collaborate with campus offices and prepare reports as needed

• Bachelor’s degree required;
  Master’s preferred
• 3–5 years of experience in student accounts, billing, or financial services in higher education
• Must have experience working with Colleague CRM
• Strong attention to detail, organization, and communication skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel
• Student‑centered, collaborative, and service‑oriented

• Hybrid role with at least 2 days per week on Boston campus
• Salary range: $65,000–$80,000
