CLA is growing and seeking to hire an experienced
** Senior** **– Income Franchise Tax
** to join our talented State & Local Tax (SALT) team. The position offers growth, flexibility and a collaborative work  this position you should have the following: excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate at all levels. Strong problem solving and creative skills and the ability to exercise sound judgment. Most important, demonstrate a high level of integrity and dependability with a strong sense of urgency and results-orientation.
** How you’ll
* create opportunities
* in this Senior – Income Franchise role:
*** Collaborate with clients to provide customized State & Local Tax advisory services and work closely with other tax team members to identify and research complex income/franchise tax issues.
* Coordinate and lead SALT income/franchise projects including nexus studies; restructuring opportunities; voluntary disclosure agreement proceedings; income/franchise tax compliance; pass through entity tax projects; PL 86-282 studies; and return review for refund opportunities.
* Focus on engagement management and operational excellence.
* Mentor Associates/Staff team members to help them build
* inspired careers.
** Learn new software and/or help develop standardized templates and tools.
* Willingness to learn new tax concepts.

* What you will need:

**
* Education:

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related field.

* Experience:

Two years of relevant experience required.
* Experience in business services or consulting is preferred.
* Eligible to sit for CPA exam preferred.
* Knowledge and understanding of Income Franchise Tax preferred.

The compensation range for this position in Massachusetts is: $84,400.00 – $#LI-MM1
