We are seeking a detail-oriented Portfolio Accounts Analyst to support a high-performing investment operations team within the asset management industry. This role is heavily focused on fixed income portfolios and will play a critical role in identifying, researching, and resolving reconciliation breaks across accounting, trading, and custodian platforms.
The ideal candidate has strong reconciliation experience, knowledge of fixed income securities, and hands‑on exposure to Bloomberg and portfolio accounting environments.
Responsibilities- Prepare and review daily, weekly, and monthly separate account reconciliations between internal accounting systems, trading platforms, and custodians
- Investigate reconciliation breaks, identify root causes, and resolve discrepancies in a timely and accurate manner
- Set up newly funded accounts, including cash and asset onboarding within accounting and trading systems
- Work collaboratively with operations, investment teams, custodians, and relationship managers to resolve issues and ensure data integrity
- Monitor portfolio activity across fixed income, equity, and complex securities, with primary focus on fixed income
- Support process improvements, controls, and oversight to enhance operational efficiency and accuracy
- Communicate clearly and professionally across internal and external stakeholders
Skills & Qualifications
- Reconciliation and research skills with ability to analyze and resolve breaks independently
- Experience working with fixed income securities (bonds, structured products, or complex securities preferred)
- Hands‑on experience with Bloomberg (highly preferred)
- Experience with Charles River Development (CRD) and/or portfolio accounting systems such as APX is a plus
- Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities in a deadline‑driven environment
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Proficiency in Excel and financial data analysis

- Experience working with custodians and trading systems
