Responsibilities
- Handle all finance and accounting related matters to private equity funds
- Report all daily accounting activity in system
- Help with preparation of financial statements
- Work with capital allocations
- Build out reports for investor meetings
- Work with investor relations to provide portfolio financial information
- Monitor all cash activity including reconciliations
- Work with different departments of firm including compliance for legal documentation
- Prepare and report on all investor calls
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance
- 2-5 years experience in public accounting or alternative investment firm
- Experience with private equity preferred
- CPA preferred
- Strong GAAP knowledge
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work with upper management and interface with all departments
