Finance Manager – Alternative Investments ($10B+ AUM

We are supporting a leading alternative investments firm ($10B+ AUM) in their search for a Finance Manager

This Finance Manager will play a leading role in overseeing financial operations and accounting for a strategic alternative investments portfolio that enables employees to invest alongside the firm. Typical duties include, but are not limited to:

• Oversee financial operations and accounting for a strategic investment portfolio (e.g., capital calls, distributions, cash management, compliance, valuations, deal structuring, tax planning, etc.).
• Lead complex analysis of portfolio financial performance (e.g., transactions, partner allocations, etc.).
• Partner with cross-functional teams to execute initiatives, drive operational efficiency, liaise with investors, and generally administer the investment fund (e.g., reporting, onboarding, etc.).
• Mentor junior members of the finance team to accelerate their professional development.

• B.S./B.A. degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline is required.
• 5+ years of relevant experience is required (e.g., accounting at a Private Equity firm, auditing at a Big 4 Public Accounting firm with Investment Management clients, etc.).
• CPA license is strongly preferred.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel (e.g., V-Lookup, Index/Match, Pivot Tables, etc.) is strongly preferred.
