What You Will Be Responsible For
• Accounting for the practice, including bank reconciliations and general ledger reviews to ensure proper revenue and expense classifications.
• Prepare budgets and revenue/expense projections.
• Analyze revenue cycle reports, including days in accounts receivable, collection percentage, payor mix and other key metrics.
• Assist clients with cash flow management and improve operational efficiencies by benchmarking overhead costs and making recommendations.
• Work with physicians, independent contractors and mid‑level providers to assess compensation, shareholder and employment agreements.
• Work with clients and third‑party administrators to implement retirement plans and employee benefits.
• Contribute to the design and implementation of physician compensation models and benchmark productivity and compensation to industry standards.
• Recognize and inform management of opportunities to increase level and types of services to clients.
• Participate in department‑wide initiatives aimed at continually improving the department’s processes and supporting infrastructure.
Basic Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or equivalent field.
• 5+ years of experience within accounting and/or tax.
• Experience with in a public accounting firm.
• CPA certification.
Preferred / Desired Qualifications
• Master’s degree in Taxation or relevant field.

For Massachusetts candidates, the expected salary range for this position is between $110,000 and $150,000. The range for other geographies may vary based on market differences. The actual compensation will be determined based on experience and other factors permitted by law.
