**** The Difference You Make:
** The Associate, Investment Operations & Administration has a broad knowledge of the business and acts as the first point of reference for day-to-day queries as well as serves as a liaison to related areas. They work on activities and projects involving committees and/or senior management and may sometimes include the end-client. The incumbent focuses on maintenance and implementation of policies and procedures, while building towards becoming an area expert.
* Acts as an escalation point of contact for client issues or inquiries.
* Serves as a key subject matter expert and may oversee a small team as player/coach.
* Establishes, builds & maintains effective working relationships with key partners internal and external to the organization.
* Seeks to understand client’s business needs and deliverables.
* Responds to client issues, anticipates client needs.
* Drives the engagement of other partners as appropriate to solve client inquiries/issues.

* Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience:
Business Administration, Finance, or Accounting or equivalent.
- Preferred.
* 5+ Years Experience in Investment Industry either in Operations, Back Office support or field Financial Consulting or equivalent.
- Required.
* Thorough working knowledge of the operational aspects of transactions and products.
* Knowledge of and ability to design, implement and evaluate standard operating procedures affecting daily and strategic business operations in order to increase operational efficiency.
* Knowledge of business process improvement tools and techniques and ability to understand, monitor, update, or enhance existing business or work processes.
* Understanding of effective communication concepts, tools and techniques; ability to effectively transmit, receive, and accurately interpret ideas, information, and needs through the application of appropriate communication behaviors.
* Understanding of the necessity and value of accuracy and attention to detail; ability to process information with high levels of accuracy.
* Ability to manage multiple concurrent objectives, projects, groups, or activities, making effective judgments as to prioritizing and time allocation.
* Knowledge of and ability to bring a reported problem to successful resolution.
* Knowledge of major functional processes and associated operating requirements; ability to apply this knowledge appropriately to diverse situations.

*** FINRA (Financial Industry Regulatory Authority): FINRA Series 7, Series 66 (or 63 & 65), Series 24 and Life and Health insurances - Preferred.
