The RoleSenior Managers in our Private Client Services (PCS) practice oversee multiple engagement teams for a wide range of sophisticated clients, which may include some of the Wealthiest Families in the US, Family Offices, Owner Operated Business Entities, Alternative Investment Fund Principals, Trusts and Estates.
Responsibilities- Engage in business development activities (prepare proposals, present in webinars, collaborate with other service lines to present a comprehensive tax strategy, etc.).
- Maintain communication with clients to ensure satisfaction, meet deadlines, stay current on legislative changes, and lead change effectively.
- Conduct primary and secondary review of complex tax returns, including federal and state filings.
- Draft technical tax memoranda.
- Supervise, train, mentor, and evaluate interns, associates, and senior associates.
- Receive formal PCS and on‑the‑job training in daily interactions with top tax leaders to learn about legislative changes, wealth transfer techniques, charitable giving strategies, buy/sell agreement planning, etc.
- 6+ years relevant work experience in an accounting firm, with at least 5 years of Private Client experience.
- Bachelor’s and/or advanced degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics or related field (Preferred).
- Advanced credential allowing for client representation before the Internal Revenue Service required (e.g., CPA or JD).
- Self‑starter with the initiative to seek opportunities and the ability to work successfully in a fast‑paced, high‑pressure environment.
- Proficient use of technology.
- Salary Range:
For individuals hired in Massachusetts, the expected base salary range is $155,000 to $210,000. - Benefits:
Medical, dental, vision, basic life insurance, 401(k) plan, 160 hours paid time off annually, twelve paid holidays each calendar year.
Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full‑time basis upon hire. Andersen will not consider candidates who require sponsorship for employment visa status now or in the future.
