Beacon Hill Financial is supporting a long‑standing private investment client in Boston with the addition of a Financial Analyst to its Finance team. This role supports a portfolio of private equity and debt‑related funds and offers hands‑on exposure to fund accounting, reporting, and investor support.
Responsibilities- Fund accounting, reporting, and compliance for a group of private funds
- Preparation of capital calls, distributions, and partners' capital statements
- Supporting investor reporting and fund administration
- Coordinating with external auditors and supporting year‑end financials and tax processes
- Assisting with Limited Partner reporting and presentation materials
- Cash and investment monitoring and bank reconciliations
- Process improvement initiatives and ad hoc finance projects
This is a Boston‑based hybrid role
.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (or equivalent experience)
- CPA or CPA‑eligible preferred
- 2+ years of public accounting experience, ideally with asset management or fund audit exposure
- Strong U.S. GAAP knowledge; investment company and fair value accounting experience a plus
- Advanced Excel skills
- Experience with fund accounting or portfolio systems is a plus
- Highly organized, detail‑oriented, and comfortable in a fast‑paced environment
- Strong communication skills and a collaborative, ownership‑oriented mindset
Base salary range: $90,000-$105,000 + bonus
, depending on experience, plus strong benefits.
