A global private investment organization is seeking a Senior Associate to join its finance and operations team. This role focuses on supporting deal execution, investment entities, and transaction-related financial operations across the full investment lifecycle.
The position works closely with investment professionals and internal partners, as well as external service providers, to ensure transactions and ongoing investment activities are executed accurately, efficiently, and in line with internal controls.
Responsibilities Transaction & Deal Support- Support operational and financial aspects of transactions, including acquisitions, add-on investments, restructurings, and exits
- Coordinate transaction logistics such as funding mechanics, cash movements, and banking setup in partnership with treasury and external parties
- Assist with deal execution workflows, ensuring transaction-related documentation, approvals, and data are complete and accurate
- Serve as a cross-functional liaison between investment teams, finance, legal, tax, and external advisors during transaction activity
- Oversee investment vehicles and deal-level entities associated with transactions
- Execute funding and distribution activity related to investment entities
- Monitor cash balances and activity at the investment-entity level
- Maintain oversight of entity-level expenses and transaction costs
- Coordinate with third-party service providers to support periodic financial reporting for investment entities
- Assist with audit processes, regulatory filings, and tax-related deliverables
- Respond to internal and external inquiries related to investment entity activity and reporting
- Track and process transaction-related expenses and maintain appropriate supporting documentation
- Support custody-related processes to ensure assets are appropriately recorded and reconciled
- Contribute to process improvements, documentation, and ad hoc projects as needed
- Bachelor’s degree required;
Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field preferred - 3–5 years of experience in private equity, investment operations, fund or transaction accounting, transaction services, consulting, or a related environment
- Familiarity with private investment structures and transaction life cycles
- Strong analytical and organizational skills with high attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, execution-focused environment
- Advanced Excel skills; experience working with financial systems and external administrators is a plus
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to partner effectively across teams
- Professional, discreet, and ownership-oriented approach to work
