Attorney - Leveraged Finance - Elite Law Platform - Boston

Our client, a leading global law firm, is looking to grow its Leveraged Finance team in Boston with the addition of an Associate focused on Private Equity transactions.

This is an opportunity to join a top ranked Banking and Private Credit platform that advises on headline sponsor backed acquisition financings across the US and internationally. The team represents major private equity sponsors and their portfolio companies on complex leveraged and private credit transactions, including large cap acquisition financings and sophisticated multi tiered capital structures.

You will act on borrower side private equity acquisition financings across syndicated and direct lending markets, working on high value and technically demanding transactions. The practice consistently sits at the top of the league tables and offers exposure to premium sponsor work.

About you:

• 4+ years’ experience in borrower side leveraged finance, acquisition finance or private credit
• Strong experience advising private equity sponsors on acquisition financings
• Experience gained at a leading US or international law firm
• Exposure to syndicated loans and private credit structures
• Excellent academic credentials
• US qualified attorney with a JD or equivalent
