Manager Fund Accounting

SS&C Financial Services seeks a Manager with a strong fund accounting background to lead client relationships and oversee teams of Fund Accountants in Dublin, Ireland, and India. The role includes proactive ownership of key client relationships, building strong working relationships with peers, and coordinating closely with Depositaries, Auditors, Fund Boards, the CBI and other key stakeholders. It also involves managing teams, owning strategically focused projects, and ensuring regulatory compliance.

• Ensure all Client NAV deliverables are completed on time, to the highest standard, and in line with service level agreements and procedures.
• Maintain high client service quality and positive client scores.
• Identify opportunities to enhance service and value proposition for clients.
• Day‑to‑day management of Dublin and Indian teams in relation to all client and internal deliverables.
• Ensure staff adhere to standard operating procedures and controls.
• Oversight of the Indian teams and monitoring of KPI’s in line with regulatory requirements.
• Coordinate and plan NAV deliverables, financial statements and tax work to ensure all client requirements are met.
• Build effective relationships with key internal and external stakeholders at all levels.
• Own any required regulatory reporting.

• 7+ years of relevant industry experience in an operations environment.
• 3+ years of management experience.
• Professional qualifications preferred (ACCA, CA, CAIA, CFA, CIMA).
• Proven track record in Fund Accounting or a similar role in the funds industry.
• Proven track record in the production and review of NAV calculations.
• Excellent knowledge of hedge funds, including different fund structures and instrument types.
• Knowledge of Irish funds and associated regulatory reporting is a distinct advantage.
• Experience with financial statement preparation and review preferred.
• Strong client relationship management and networking skills essential.
• Ability to work in a changing, fast‑paced and control‑focused environment.

• Strong business acumen and attention to detail.
• Strong leadership and organizational skills.
