Job Summary
NEPC is seeking a detail‑oriented professional to serve as a primary point of contact for document preparation and review within our OCIO Investment Operations business. This role centers around managing the end‑to‑end subscription and contracting lifecycle for commingled vehicles, hedge funds, and private market investments, with a strong emphasis on ensuring AML/KYC requirements are satisfied to enable investment readiness.

Key Responsibilities Investment Manager Contracting & Subscription Execution- Lead the end‑to‑end contracting and onboarding process for new investment managers, including preparation, review, and execution of subscription agreements and related legal documentation.
- Serve as a primary point of coordination between investment managers, fund administrators, and internal teams to advance subscription completion and investment readiness.
- Review subscription agreements and related documents for accuracy, completeness, and consistency with client structure and internal approvals.
- Track contracting timelines and coordinate execution to support funding and investment deadlines.
- Coordinate the collection of required AML/KYC documentation in accordance with investment manager requirements.
- Review AML/KYC documentation for completeness, internal consistency, and alignment with investor profile information and subscription documentation.
- Identify missing, incomplete, or inconsistent documentation and coordinate timely resolution with clients, fund managers, and internal teams.
Note:
This role is responsible for facilitating AML/KYC documentation readiness and completeness but does not perform AML/KYC investigative research or sanctions screening.
- Provide clear, timely status updates and escalation where needed to ensure transparency and proactive risk management.
- Manage multiple onboarding workflows simultaneously, maintaining strong attention to detail and adherence to deadlines.
- Identify opportunities to enhance contracting and AML/KYC workflows to improve efficiency, transparency, and risk control.
- Support the development and refinement of internal processes, templates, and documentation standards.
- 3+ years in investment documentation, AML/KYC due diligence, fund onboarding, legal documentation, or related roles within asset management, financial services, fund administration, accounting, or corporate law.
- Working knowledge of AML/KYC, FATCA, and CRS requirements and their application within investment onboarding workflows strongly preferred.
- Exceptional attention to detail and ability to manage high volumes of documentation in a deadline‑driven environment.
- Strong organizational skills with demonstrated ability to manage complex, multi‑stakeholder workflows.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with investment managers, administrators, and internal stakeholders.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite; experience with investor portals and fund administration platforms preferred.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent relevant work experience.
The base salary for this role is $80,500 - $93,600 per year with an additional annual performance bonus. Individual compensation and level are based on a variety of factors, including experience, education, certifications, location, responsibilities of the role, internal equity and alignment with market data.
