Tax Associate – Real Estate Investment Management
We’re partnering with a well-established, Boston-based real estate investment firm to add a Tax Associate to their growing team. This is a high-impact role supporting a diverse portfolio of real estate investments, offering strong exposure to REITs, partnerships, and complex tax structures. Compensation: $,000 + bonus
What You’ll Do:- Support tax compliance, reporting, and planning across partnerships, corporations, REITs, and funds
- Review federal/state tax returns and manage quarterly/annual tax filings
- Assist with REIT compliance testing and identify potential issues
- Calculate taxable income, tax provisions, and estimated payments
- Partner with external tax advisors and respond to tax authority inquiries
- Conduct tax research and support strategic tax initiatives
- Bachelor’s in Accounting or related field
- 3-5 years of public accounting or private industry experience required
- Real Estate tax experience
- Strong Excel skills and attention to detail
- CPA or progress toward CPA is a plus
- Experience with CCH or BNA Fixed Assets is a bonus
