Senior Finance Associate - Top Hedge Fund in Boston (hybrid)

Our client, a leading hedge fund in Boston, is looking to add a Senior Finance Associate to their growing team. This person will gain directexposuretoboth the managementcompanyandfund-levelfinancials,whilepartneringcloselywithinvestment,compliance,andoperationsteams.

This person will be involved in financial reporting, fund accounting, and audit support, and will help drive process improvements as the firm continues to grow.
Responsibilities:

• Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements for the management company and related entities
• Support fund-level accounting processes, including expense allocations, accruals, and reconciliations
• Ensure accuracy and timeliness of general ledger activity in accordance with GAAP
• Assist with audit preparation, including schedules, documentation, and responses
• Support regulatory and compliance-related financial reporting requirements
• Identify opportunities to improve financial processes, controls, and reporting efficiency
• Help implement system enhancements or process automation initiatives as the firm grows
• Partner with compliance, investor relations, and investment teams on financial matters
• Support new initiatives, fund launches, or business growth activities as needed

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting
• 2-4 years of experience in finance or accounting,ideallypublic or public/private mix
• Asset management / financial services experience strongly preferred
• Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting principles
• Advanced Excel; experience with accounting systems (Quick Books) a plus
• CPA or progress toward CPA is a plus

$100-120K base salary, dependent on experience
