Tax Associate - Real Estate Investment Firm in Boston (Hybrid)

Our client, a well‑established real estate investment and asset management firm with a diverse national portfolio across multiple asset classes, is looking to add a Tax Associate to its growing team. This person will work across tax compliance, REITs, partnerships, and corporate structures, with the chance to work closely with senior leadership.

• Calculate taxable income and tax basis for all entities (including joint venture partnerships, corporations, REITs, and Fund)
• Review federal and state tax returns for all entities
• Prepare quarterly and annual REIT compliance testing
• Calculate extension and quarterly estimated tax payments
• Calculate E&P for all corporate entities
• Coordinate the delivery of finalized trial balances, schedules, and calculations to third‑party tax preparers
• Review property activity to identify potential REIT compliance issues

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or equivalent field
• 4+ years of tax experience in partnerships and REITs

$100K - $120K base salary, dependent on experience
