Management Company Controller (Boston)

A highly regarded, global alternative asset manager is looking to add a senior leader to its Management Company Finance team. This is a high‑impact role supporting a multi‑billion‑dollar credit platform with a strong growth trajectory. This position offers the opportunity to take ownership of U.S. corporate accounting while partnering closely with senior leadership and helping scale a best‑in‑class finance function.

• Lead corporate accounting operations, including close, reporting, budgeting, and liquidity forecasting
• Oversee monthly financials and ensure compliance with GAAP
• Partner with investment/fund teams on complex revenue and fee structures
• Manage and mentor a global team (U.S. + offshore)
• Support audits, regulatory reporting, and internal controls
• Drive process improvements and system enhancements
• Collaborate cross‑functionally with FP&A, legal, compliance, and operations

• 10+ years of experience (CPA preferred)
• Public accounting foundation + experience in alternative asset management
• Strong technical accounting and reporting expertise
• Experience managing teams and working across global organizations
• Systems‑oriented mindset (ERP experience required; Workday a plus)
• Proactive, hands‑on, and comfortable in a fast‑paced environment
