Risk Manager/Analyst, Financial Compliance
Enterprise Risk Management is looking to hire an Investor Services Risk Analyst to help drive our mission, strengthen and protect the firm and its clients by establishing a global risk framework, supporting the execution of risk measuring, managing and monitoring programs, and driving a culture of risk awareness, transparency, and escalation. The successful candidate will be responsible for proactive identification, assessment, monitoring, measurement, and mitigation of operational risks and will gain exposure to various business functions.
Key Responsibilities- Review the accuracy and completeness of control and process events and analyze financial impacts.
- Assess corrective actions, monitor progress, collaborate with peers, and escalate matters to the Risk Manager as needed.
- Assist in establishing processes, documentation, and controls across lines of business.
- Actively participate in the administration and analysis of risk and control self‑assessments, ensuring timely completion based on policies and procedures.
- Support SOC1 audit engagements by presenting processes and controls, generating reports, and coordinating with External Auditors.
- Identify, assess, and elevate trends, control weaknesses, root causes, and provide sustainable risk‑mitigation solutions.
- Perform risk/control reviews of operational processes and develop narratives and process flows for findings and recommendations.
- Participate in the dissemination of business policies and procedures that impact the lines of business.
- Leverage risk management tools, such as the firm‑wide risk event database and risk and control self‑assessment database, to assist in causal analysis of risk matters/incidents.
- Serve as the primary contact point with lines of business, ERM, Compliance, and Internal Audit to ensure proactive risk mitigation.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent working experience.
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant industry experience in asset management or asset servicing;
Fund Accounting and Fund Administration experience preferred. - Experience in Transfer Agency and Custody operations or within a risk and control function (Audit, Risk, Compliance, Legal, or Big4 Accounting Firm) is a plus.
- Strong proficiency with Excel, Visio, and PowerPoint.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Strong collaboration and interpersonal skills.
Salary: $65,000–$90,000 base + annual bonus target. Total rewards include base salary, discretionary bonuses, and profit‑sharing. Benefits cover long‑term savings, healthcare, income protection, professional development, and paid time off.
