Digital Finance Transformation - Data Scientist:
Associate – Private Equity Performance Improvement

The TeamA&M’s Private Equity Performance Improvement Services (PEPI) works with portfolio companies to improve transparency and value. The Digital Finance Transformation practice modernizes data environments, automates processes, and builds analytics‑driven tools for finance functions.
How you will contributeWe are seeking an Associate or Senior Associate to design, implement, and operationalize digital solutions for CFOs, Controllers, and FP&A leaders, improving performance, transparency, and scalability.
Qualifications- 3‑6+ years of professional experience; consulting or professional services preferred.
- Advanced Python programming experience and familiarity with machine learning libraries (scikit‑learn, Tensor Flow, PyTorch).
- Strong SQL skills and experience with modern data platforms (Snowflake, Databricks, Azure Synapse, Microsoft Fabric).
- Experience with ETL/orchestration tools (Dagster, Temporal, Azure Data Factory, AWS Glue, Fivetran, Matillion).
- Demonstrated ability to develop lightweight finance applications using Streamlit or Retool.
- Solid understanding of finance and accounting concepts, including forecasting, working capital management, and three‑statement modeling.
- Exceptional communication and collaboration skills; proven ability to translate between finance and technology teams.
- Ability to travel as required.

BenefitsThe salary range is $90,000–$130,000 annually, plus a discretionary bonus program.
