Job Title: Sr. Manager, Strategic FP&A
Reports to: Associate Vice President, Corporate FP&A
Location: US - Boston, MA, Houston, TX
As Sr. Manager, Strategic FP&A at Conga, you’ll play a key role in shaping the company’s financial story and long‑term outlook
. You’ll support multi‑year financial planning, exit‑rate and run‑rate analysis, executive‑level reporting, and ad hoc strategic analysis for senior leadership.
This role sits within Corporate FP&A and partners closely with Finance leadership to translate complex financial data into clear, decision‑ready insights for the CFO, executive leadership team, and Board of Directors. A portion of your role will be intentionally unspecified, allowing flexibility to take on urgent priorities and high‑impact strategic initiatives as they arise.
Why it’s a big deal…At Conga, our Finance team is essential to our success. The insights and analyses you deliver will directly influence enterprise‑level decisions
, support long‑range strategy, and help leadership understand where the business is headed — and why.
This role provides a unique opportunity to operate at the intersection of financial modeling, strategic thinking, and executive communication
, helping to ensure alignment across planning cycles and leadership forums.
You have 6+ years of experience in FP&A, strategic finance, corporate strategy, investor relations, or related fields, ideally within a SaaS or technology‑enabled company. You’ve supported executive leadership with forward‑looking financial analysis
, scenario modeling, and executive‑level materials. You’ve built robust financial models, run‑rate and bridge analyses, and concise reporting that enables confident decision‑making — especially using Excel.
You have a strong understanding of accounting, finance, and operating principles and can translate those concepts into insights others can easily understand and act on.
Influence changeYou take initiative to understand the business’s needs and challenges — often before they’re fully articulated. You form thoughtful, data‑driven perspectives on key drivers, risks, and opportunities
, and you use those insights to influence decisions at the senior leadership level.
Because of the transparency, authenticity, humility, and rigor you bring to your work, your peers and leaders trust your analysis and judgment.
InitiativeYou don’t wait for direction to create impact. You’re proactive about identifying gaps, proposing solutions, and owning outcomes — even when the work falls outside a clearly defined scope. You’re comfortable operating in ambiguity and enjoy tackling unstructured problems that matter to the business.
Strategic mindsetYou’re accustomed to thinking beyond the current quarter. You’re comfortable working with multi‑year plans, exit‑rate views, run‑rate normalization, and scenario analysis
, and you understand how to connect near‑term performance to long‑term strategy.
A bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or Business Administration is highly preferred. An advanced degree is a plus.
Here’s what will give you an edge…- Hands‑on experience with FP&A systems and tools (e.g., Anaplan, Adaptive, Power BI, Tableau).
- Exposure to corporate strategy initiatives, capital planning, or M&A‑related analysis.
- Strong executive communication and financial storytelling skills.
