Who We Are Looking For

We are looking for a leader within the Private Equity and Real Assets Fund Services business unit of the State Street Alternative Investment Services Group. We are a dedicated team of accounting professionals passionate about delivering financial reporting and day‑to‑day accounting support to premier real estate fund clients. Join this growing team that builds innovative solutions to revolutionize how State Street services our customers.

Responsibilities
  • Maintain the general ledger for various fund entities.
  • Prepare supporting work papers for financial statements, portfolio schedules and capital account allocations.
  • Prepare financial statements and footnote disclosures.
  • Conduct analytical review of monthly/quarterly investment and fund performance data.
  • Review and/or prepare capital calls, distributions and bank reconciliations.
  • Calculate management, annual and incentive fees.
  • Prepare various client correspondences.
  • Calculate waterfalls and capital account allocations.
  • Execute special projects as requested.
Qualifications
  • Fund accounting or public accounting experience.
  • CPA or actively pursuing CPA certification.
  • Experience communicating verbally and in writing at senior levels with internal and external clients.
  • Excellent administrative and organizational skills with demonstrated ability to multi‑task and work efficiently to meet client deliverables.

Location / Onsite Requirement

May be required to work onsite at a State Street location twice or thrice a week, if located within a commutable distance.

Salary

$52,000 - $94,120 per year (may vary by location).
