Kforce has a client in Boston, MA that is seeking an Associate Director – Financial Reporting.
Responsibilities- Manage financial reporting processes, including monthly and year‑end close activities
- Serve as primary point of contact for external auditors and support audit engagements
- Coordinate audit deliverables, timelines, and required documentation
- Oversee preparation and review of tax filings in coordination with external advisors
- Ensure timely and accurate completion of compliance and regulatory filings
- Maintain and enhance internal controls and reporting procedures
- Identify process improvements and recommend efficiencies within reporting and tax functions
- Collaborate cross‑functionally with finance, accounting, and operational teams
- Support risk identification and assist in strengthening control documentation
- Participate in financial, operational, and compliance audits as needed
- Leverage technology to improve reporting and compliance processes
- Assist with ad hoc projects and departmental initiatives as assigned
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- CPA required
- 7+ years of relevant accounting, audit, or tax experience
- Strong knowledge of financial reporting and compliance requirements
- Experience working with external auditors and tax consultants
- Proficiency in accounting systems and Microsoft Excel
- Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off.
Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
