AVP – Insurance Operations Expense Strategy Lead

Company Overview

A leading global investment firm with approximately $500 billion in assets under management, specializing in alternative asset management and insurance solutions, is seeking an Insurance Operating Expense Strategy Lead to support sustainable growth across its insurance platform.

• Lead the preparation and delivery of recurring expense reporting to drive transparency and insights into business results
• Work cross-functionally to automate manual processes and develop more efficient ways to compile and analyze data
• Partner with the Total Firm FP&A team to report and analyze the Insurance impact of total firm operating expenses
• Own the preparation and delivery of Insurance statutory expense analytics
• Coordinate the annual budget process, interim forecast updates, and long-term planning
• Support monthly close processes, reviewing results and supporting expense analysis

• Background in financial services with a strong understanding of financial accounting, reporting processes, and insurance operations
• Experience collaborating across functions including legal, technology, risk, operations, and compliance
• Track record of process improvement with a focus on automation, scalability, and controls
• Strong analytical and communication skills
• Alignment with the firm's values and ability to build effective working relationships across the organization

Salary: $110,000 – $170,000, Plus Bonus
