Position: Citizens Banker - Bilingual - Spanish Required

Starting Salary: $25/hour and up

What You'll Do

Using your strong communication and problem‑solving skills — along with your broad range of financial knowledge — you’ll provide recommendations and assist customers with financial solutions, supporting spending, saving, borrowing and investing needs. You’ll get to know customers’ personal financial goals and recommend tailored solutions to help them achieve those goals, such as planning for the future, buying a home or opening a new credit card.

You’ll introduce customers to digital and mobile‑first ways to handle banking transactions via our app or ATMs, collaborate with partners in Wealth Management, Mortgage and Business Banking on more complex financial needs, and make outbound calls to acquire new customers and schedule financial check‑up appointments. All financial policies and procedures will be followed, including proper cash handling, state and local laws and regulations.

Required Qualifications
  • High School degree or GED required
  • 2 years of sales and customer service experience, demonstrating an ability to meet or exceed goals
  • Ability to effectively ask questions and identify needs to improve the customer relationship
  • Proven success with building relationships, and recommending and referring products and services through in‑person and phone interactions
  • Demonstrated skills in using digital technology to support the delivery of business goals
  • Aptitude to problem solve and provide solutions to customer issues
  • Recognized ability to strengthen relationships with teammates, business partners and specialists through collaboration
  • Self‑motivated, confident and ability to multitask effectively
  • Ability to work branch hours, which can include weekends and evenings
  • Meet and comply with all requirements set forth in the SAFE Act, including, but not limited to successful completion of the pre‑employment screening checks and obtaining a unique identifier from the NMLS.

  • Pay Transparency – The salary range for this position is $28.39 – $30.87 per hour, plus an opportunity to earn additional incentive earnings. Actual pay is based on various factors including budget, the work location, and relevant skills and experience.
