Financial Analyst, Financial Reporting
Responsible for general business and financial support for the Cell Manipulation Core Facility (CMCF). Responsible for a wide range of tasks related to supporting CMCF including specialty patient clinical and research billing, patient charge entry, invoice payment to outside vendors, reporting and analysis, budget reconciliation, PCF processing and purchasing needs of the department.
Responsibilities- Prepares monthly, quarterly, annual and ad hoc reports and furnishes data as needed
- Prepares analyses and journal entries to support the monthly general ledger closing process and annual budget development process
- Manages daily financial transactions
- Serves as CMCF specialist for clinical charge entry and research billing
- Updates salary roster including management of splits across operational, research and gift accounts
- Generates and submits staff expense reports and performs critical supply ordering while ensuring appropriate research or operating fund are utilized
- Participates in the business process redesign and improvement of key functions and tasks within the department
- Assists in budget management of multiple projects and budgets
- Handles transactions – reimbursements, purchasing, payments, interinstitutional billing and PO's
- Excelent computer skills in MS Office applications, automated general ledger system, etc. Workday experience strongly preferred
- Excellent judgment, discretion, interpersonal skills and communication skills to effectively work on sensitive political and confidential issues with clinical staff and senior management
- Ability to function independently in a fast‑paced environment while managing multiple priorities
- Pay particular attention to detail by performing reconciliations, implementing controls, and reviewing work completed

- Commitment to working closely with others in a team‑oriented approach
- A bachelor's degree or equivalent in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- 1-3 years of relevant work experience, preferably in the healthcare industry
