Bain Capital pioneered the value-added investment approach. The global team operates in eleven offices on four continents and has made more than 1,450 primary and add-on investments. The firm focuses on Private Equity, Growth & Venture, Capital Solutions, Credit & Capital Markets, and Real Assets.
The Private Equity Full-time Analyst-Associate program is a three-year commitment with potential for a fourth year. Analysts spend their first two years as Analysts, followed by one to two years as Associates. This opportunity commences in July 2027 with an extensive, multi-week training program designed to introduce Bain Capital's value-added investment approach. All Analysts start their careers in the Boston office.
The breadth of industries, the multiple types of investments, and the overall deal volume provide a unique opportunity for Analysts to gain significant experience in a short period of time. Bain Capital professionals are exposed to a broad set of situations and companies.
The program provides unparalleled training for aspiring private equity investment professionals. More than 10 percent of Bain Capital's private equity fund commitments come from its own professionals, reflecting a strong principal investor mentality and confidence in generating industry-leading returns.
The ideal candidate has an excellent academic record from a top university, strong analytical capabilities, and prior internship or work experience in investment banking, consulting, or related finance fields.
